Jessie and Dennis could not of asked for a more beautiful day for a Chicago Wedding at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. When I met with Jessie a few months back, she could not wait for this day to come. Everything about this couple was different and fun. First of all, they planned the wedding in 4 months. Crazy right?! And Jessie’s engagement ring was not your standard diamond engagement ring but rather this stunning pink tourmaline set in yellow gold. I honestly could not stop starring at it!
So Jessie is originally from Chicago and Dennis is from Ireland. The two met randomly at a local bar where it was love at first site. As I learned at the wedding, Jessie knew she was going to marry Dennis right away and of course she was right! Planning their Chicago wedding was a bit challenging with the all the out of town guest but they some how managed to pull it off!
All the amazing and beautiful flowers for this Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum Wedding were done by Kathleen at Romance in Blooms. Jessie asked to have a huge bouquet and boy did she get exactly what she wanted. The flowers were absolutely stunning!
The reception was held at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Lincoln Park right at sunset; a photographers dream.
The catering was provided by the amazing Jewel Catering.
This was the first time I photographed a Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum Wedding and I was very excited to work at this venue. As many know, finding amazing locations is my favorite part about this job. With this venue, we did not have to venture any further than 20 feet from the cocktail hour to get great photos. At this wedding, I also go to test out the 5d Mark III and will be upgrading to that VERY SOON!
I hope you enjoy this Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum Wedding as much as I enjoyed photographing it!!!
