Houdini Estate Wedding is hands down one of my favorite venues! I love the nature but I also love all the quirky decor. Every direction you turn, there is something interesting to look at or discover. From the wallpaper in the bridal suite to the fun sculptures throughout the gardens, every inch of this venue is decorated in the most magical way.
We started this day with the couple getting ready in separate levels of the house. The girls got ready downstairs with the amazing floral wallpapers and the guys got ready upstairs with the more masculine decor. Following getting ready, the couple met at the bottom level for their first look and photos with their families. After photos, the couple and their families headed back to the top to relax before the ceremony.
The ceremony took place right outside of the house and just under the clock. I love this ceremony site because you can capture the ceremony from so many different angles. It’s also easy to get up close and personal without being in the view of the family and guest.
Following the ceremony, they moved on to cocktails along the terrace. The guests were served a variety of horderves, craft cocktails, and oysters while a magician went around performing tricks. I can’t think of anything more fitting for entertainment at Houdini Estate.
We then moved on to the reception dinner, first dances, cake cutting, and several touching speeches by the close family of the bride and groom. Everything about this day was absolutely beautiful. From the attire to the decor, every detail was well planned and thoughtful.
If you are looking to plan a Houdini Estate Wedding, I would love to hear from you!
