Baptism Photography and other special event photography is always one of my favorite things to photograph.  This event was for sure one of my recent favorites. Not only was this little guy the cutest thing ever, so was his older brother.  I absolutely love working with kids.  The humor, entertainment, and love they bring to everyday life is worth all the work, stress, and chaos.  These kids had me laughing from the minute I showed up until now.

For Kami’s baptism, he had family who traveled from all over the world to be a part of his big day.  I started at the family’s home in Pasadena to capture a few photos before they left.  But just as most things with kids it didn’t all go according to plan. We ended up taking photos of everyone getting ready.  But to be honest, these are so much more special than your basic portraits.  I was able to really capture the personalities of both boys.  One being outgoing and silly and the other shy and sweet.

From there we headed to the church for Kami’s baptism at Saint Sarfis Armenian Apostolic Church of Pasedena. The ceremony was adorable and hilarious.  Little Kami was all smiles and laughing until things got serious and then he was not having it!  At the end he sprinted for the door and had everyone laughing. Following the ceremony we headed over to The Little White Church for dinner and mingling.  The food was incredible and everyone had a great time catching up while the kids ran circles and ate cupcakes.
