I am so excited to finally be sharing images from this wedding at the Wayfarer Chapel in Palos Verdes. We started the day at a Shade Hotel in Redondo Beach where the bride and groom both got ready in separate rooms. We arrived just as the bride was getting final touches to her make-up and about to put on her dress. From there, we did a first look on the balcony of the bride’s suite and a few portraits inside of the room. The lighting was just amazing and the combination with the sheers was something we simply had to take advantage.
From there we headed over to the Wayfarer Chapel in Palos Verdes. For those who saw my instagram post, I was completely nerding out about this place. This chapel was designed by the son of a very famous American architect, Lloyd Wright. So needless to say, I was pretty excited to shoot here.
As many wedding days go, we had a pretty tight timeline. We had about 2 hours for family portraits, bridal party, bride and groom and a ceremony. So we had to move very quickly and have all our shots figured out in advance. Thankfully the day went perfectly for the happy couple!
