In June, I offered 15 minute mini sessions in exchange for a donation to 4 Kira 4 Mom’s . With everything going on in the world, I wanted to do more than post on my social media. From now on, I am going to be offering Give Back Mini Sessions as often as I can. And each session will have a different cause and a different subject.

4 Kira 4 Mom’s was founded with the mission to advocate for improved maternal health policies and regulations. I chose 4 Kira 4 Mom’s as our first session for a few reasons.

1) I just got back from maternity leave (fitting).

2) More women die in the United states each year than in any other civilized country in the world. And Black, American Indian, and Alaska Native (AI/AN) women are two to three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women.

3)I believe a safe birth should not be a privilege!
