After over 10 years of photographing kids and a few sessions with my own family, I decided that family photos need to be fun!  I am sure when most families think about family pictures, mom and dad immediately cringe.  hahah!  It can be a lot.  Getting the outfits ready and making sure everyone is fed and rested.  And then you have to make sure you packed all the right things.  And to get there on time and park the car.  Its a lot!

This year I’ve vowed to make at least one part of this process fun and that part is the session!  For this session, I talked to the mom about what a typical day off was like in their house.  I wanted to capture this family in a way that represents their life right now.  This family is a little new to California and I really liked the idea of making it colorful. And since the girls loved riding scooters, we decided that would be a fun activity to incorporate in to the session.
