| This adorable family session with the Chelovich Family was so cute! They wanted to do one last family photo session before leaving California to move back to New York. What better location to say goodbye to the West Coast than the beach? I took them to my favorite beach, Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu. It’s a great location to photograph families, especially with younger children. The parking at this location is really easy and it’s a safer option for small children. It’s also pretty private, which is nice to avoid tourists in the background of photos! The Chelovich Family chose to include their nanny in their photo session, which I thought was really sweet. She has been watching over Milo ever since he was a baby, and I thought it was so nice to include her in the photos since she’s practically family at this point! I could tell she really loved Milo like a son. They all spent the afternoon playing in the sand and collecting seashells. We had so much fun capturing genuine moments together. For little kids, posing can be really hard, so we got a mixture of posed photos and playtime. It helped make the session fun for everyone! It’s so fun getting to photograph natural moments with families. This session will be a great one for little Milo to look back on once he’s all grown up to remember life in California! It’s always important to time-stamp special moments in life with photos. I know the Chelovich family will miss their home in California, but I wish them well in their next New York chapter!
