This family session was such a joy to shoot! I met up with the Kinu family near their home in Marina del Rey and we captured some adorable family photos together. They were relocating from Los Angeles to Seattle in the near future and wanted to capture their last moments in SoCal. I picked a location that showcased the beauty of Los Angeles. I also wanted the location to be convenient for traveling with a baby. We started shooting in a park. Then we ended at sunset at the beach. It was a perfect sunny day and I’m glad we were able to capture the California sunshine before they left for the Pacific Northwest!

I loved photographing this adorable baby. She was so calm throughout the shoot and actually fell asleep halfway through! We got some really adorable family photos of her sleeping. How cute! After that, we took a little walk down a pathway leading to the water. I got some photos of her with each parent and then some by herself. We got some really sweet moments for the Kinu family to look back and remember life in LA as a young family! Someday they will be able to show grown-up Baby Kinu all of the memories they made in Marina del Rey.
