I know I’ve said it 100 times but I just love sessions at home! It really allows for so much more variety. Kids and run through the house, jump on the bed, play with the dog, swing outside, or enjoy a snack. When you go to a location, we are sort of limited to cuddles and small games. The Lowe family requested to shoot at home for a few reasons. First of all they just moved in to a new house with a backyard. The second reason they wanted to shoot at home was their family dog, Hef! Hef was such a big part of this families history and he was starting to get very old. The Lowe Family wanted to make sure to get nice photos of them all together before it was too late.

We started the session on the couples bed in their room. I loved the dark color backgrounds and the side light coming through the windows. And of course the kiddos were just too cute! From there we joined Hef in the living room for some pets and then outside to play!
